This will be a 3 class program in August hosted at the Archer Gallery & Studio!

  • Class Dates: August 1st, 8th, 15th
      • Ages 13-18
      • Sheet music provided
      • All guitars are welcome but you will have to provide your own amp if playing electric
      • You’ll be guided through the basic elements of playing, from tuning, rhythm, and exercises, to theory and songs!
  • For complete beginners and beginners with some experience

Group Lesson Schedule

Week 1 - The Basics

Thursday August 1, 2024

Our first week's lesson will be spent getting familiar with the instrument, proper hand positioning, tuning , and basic techniques. We will finish the lesson off with starting our first song!
Pre-requisite: Bring your own guitar and amp (if needed), and tuner (if you have one)

Week 2 - Exercises

Our second week we will be focusing on techniques and exercises to help get your fingers moving. We will also go over basic theory, chords, and rhythm and introduce a second song!
Pre-requisite: Bring your own guitar and amp (if needed), and tuner (if you have one)

Week 3 - Songs

Thursday August 15, 2024
6:15 PM PDT
Our final lesson will be spent reviewing our songs!
